HONORS BANQUET
Each year at the Conference for American Indian Women of Proud Nations, seven (7) American Indian women are honored for their contributions to the American Indian community. Previous nominees have:
- Made a special impact on individual Indians, Indian families or an Indian community at large.
- Inspired others to volunteer for community service.
- Have been a catalyst for new visions, understanding and positive change in an Indian community.
The awards will be presented during the conference banquet on Friday, September 16, 2011.
